Gallery members are the backbone of the Artists' Gallery. They are actively involved in all aspects of the gallery: hanging their art, helping to keep the gallery working smoothly: sitting in the gallery for several hours a month. making sales, answering phone inquiries, taking on various jobs (publicity, merchandising, building liaison, treasurer, and more). Members make the commitment to spend time and energy to help make the gallery a success. Each member is required to pay rent, as well as a joining fee. The support of one another makes this more than just a place to show art. It is the comraderie that goes beyond what is normally considered an artist's engagement in the venue that shows their work.
